Leslie K. Gill
Leslie Gill is the Executive Director of Rung, a nonprofit in St. Louis that strives to help women and children achieve economic sustainability. Previously, Leslie served as Chief Executive Officer of Annie Malone Children’s & Family Services.
Having served in leadership capacities for several non-profit organizations, Leslie has been deeply involved in a wide range of social welfare issues.
At Annie Malone, Leslie was responsible for the daily managerial operations of the agency and charged with helping raise funds to support its Crisis Intervention, Transitional Living, Parenting Education and Therapeutic School programs. Prior to joining Annie Malone, Leslie was the Executive Director of College Summit, where she had multi-state responsibility for programs, fundraising and business operations. She also spent six years in executive leadership roles with the Girl Scouts in St. Louis and Atlanta. In those roles she oversaw advocacy and governmental affairs, strategic planning, program development, membership recruitment and cookie sales.
While living in Washington, D.C., she held a variety of roles, including Director of Business Development and Client Relations for the public relations firm Swanson Communications, campaign manager for a mayoral candidate, and in several management roles in the Executive Office of then-Mayor Anthony A. Williams, also in Washington, D.C.
Leslie is a native of St. Louis, and now resides in the Central West End neighborhood with her daughter, Marley. She is a distinguished alumnus of Hampton University holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and she has a Master of International Business from Saint Louis University.
